Review 2: Holy crap this book took a nose dive at the half way point.Rating: 3 for first half, 1.5 for second halfThe beginning was okay, the story was descent. So anyway I hate to give the book such an average rating, but I didn't like it enough to give it anything higher. The love that the book was missing throughout, magically shows up at the end where it was greatly needed. I love how she ended it, with Jadyn's meltdown and a grand wedding that really showed how much Phillip and Jadyn truly love each other. Jillian Dodd did a great job writing the ending though, by the end, my original two start rating got bumped up to a three. I really want to see a stronger relationship between Jadyn and Phillip, one where Jadyn isn't self sabotaging every good thing in her life.
I'm really hoping that the That Baby book will be better. That Boy, really touched me when I read it, but That Wedding almost had me hating both Phillip and Jadyn. Jadyn is incapable of having real conversations with Phillip because they almost always end up in bed together and the talking never. Jadyn and Phillip use sex to solve their problems which I find really childish. Don't me wrong I do read erotica, but you are expecting it. I think what turned me off was the constant sex in the book. Jadyn continues her selfish and destructive behavior when it comes to her relationship with Phillip. First off if you are looking for more of the Phillip and Jadyn love story, you won't really find it until the very, very end of the book. That being said, I was majorly disappointed with That Wedding. Review 1: Okay let me first off say that I really wanted to love this book! I loved That Boy so much and I had very high expectations for the sequel.
